“ I don't live in the area, but I met with a friend for cake and coffee here yesterday. The man at the counter was SO friendly and went the extra mile to provide welcoming service. The coffee was very good too. I had the strawberry shortcake, which was delicious- however I think it might be a La Rocca item, and not made in-house. Even so, it was kept very fresh and fluffy without being soggy (and I wouldn't expect a chain like this to make cakes anyway). The place had very well setup tables which made it easy for my friend to navigate with her large stroller. Would recommend this Second Cup to anyone in the area. They make you feel like a regular, even if it's your first time there. ”

“ I ordered a large Mocha, it tasted great, and the temperature is appropriate. Short staffed, the only person in the store. Washroom was clean. The patio at the back would need cleaning maintenance, tables are not wiped. But it must’ve been difficult for the staff to leave the counter. Poor guy needs a back up and assistance, just in case an emergency came up in the store. The Barista in the store was courteous and knowledgeable, the service was prompt and efficient. Kudos to him. Nice quiet patio and wifi access, I had a quiet hour. ”
